My favorite room from the March 2010 Elle Decor story "All Star Makeover"? That would be the teenage son's bedroom. Talk about a subtle palette and classic style! Seriously, I want to emulate this room (just replace the sports memorabilia/ Beatles poster with some books, vintage accessories and nautical artwork.)
I love, love the cork wall and the high gloss blue/black door. It's no surprise Nate Berkus was part of the design team, as I do enjoy his work.
