There's some great design events happening this weekend in NYC. I have been eagerly anticipating Housing Works
Design on a Dime since I first learned of the event last year. It's an event that features rooms created by some fantastic designers, and you can purchase the homewares, furniture, etc that are featured with proceeds benefiting NY Residents with HIV/AIDS.
Also this weekend is
Brooklyn Designs, an exhibition of contemporary furniture and home accessories made right here in Brooklyn. Based on the list of exhibitors, it looks like a fantastic sampling of design. Here's some of the work of a few exhibitors that caught my eye.
