D.C. Part II

I've returned to NY after a wonderful trip down to D.C. It was the perfect Spring getaway, as lost of things were in bloom and the weather was quite mild.  We ended up doing a ton of walking all over town, which led to me asking Kelly, "What's that building?" every five minutes.

We went to the Newseum, an interactive museum dedicated to news, obviously. It was really fascinating, lots of unique and moving exhibits, including Pulitzer prize winning photographs and 9/11 . And they had some big ole' ethics.

I also decided to document almost every meal I had on the trip. This has resulted in quite a varied collection of photos. Feast below.

Cherry Blossom Sangria (real good)  at La Tasca

D.C. Chicken Salad from Corner Bakery Cafe. Delicious!

Arnold Palmer (Half Iced-tea, Half Lemonade for y'all who don't know) at Hawk 'n' Dove

Chlli Dog from Ben's Chili Bowl. This is a legendary dive-y, old fashioned place.

Cheeseburger and Fries from Five Guys. This is a damn good burger. And I know burgers.

Eggs Jessica (poached egg over potato cake with crumbled bacon and hollandaise) at Clyde's
