A few snapshots from my trip to LA. Highlights were the Adele concert,  a perfect day in Santa Monica, Griffith Observatory, Dim Sum in Chinatown, driving a few blocks away from the Kodak Theater the day of the Oscars, and (the delicious) Umami Burger.

I want to share an amazing Brooklyn based photographer I discovered named Dalton Rooney. I was browsing an equally amazing site, Print Society, when I stumbled upon his work and was totally smitten. His simple, stark landscapes of Brooklyn and Long Island really evoke such sensitivity and a sense of quiet.

Easter in San Francisco

I celebrated my first Easter outside of Ohio this year. I traded a big meal with the family for park full of drag queens and half-naked men. Only in San Francisco! It was a gorgeous day too.

On Friday I went to Alcatraz with friends, who were visiting from NYC. It was another gorgeous day and a truly fascinating visit. Alcatraz is unlike anywhere I've ever been. It's crazy beautiful and eery.
